Swing Left is seeking a new Deputy Field Director to play a key role in shaping and implementing our field strategy for winning back the House in 2018.
Deputy Field Directors primarily work to build and strengthen the volunteer infrastructure in our 70 target Swing Districts. Each Deputy Field Director focuses on a designated region of the country and manages volunteer Regional Coordinators who help to coach Swing Left local leaders. They will also be responsible for supporting existing Swing Left volunteers teams, identifying new emerging leaders, and helping develop new strategies for local leadership development. Position reports to the Chief Community Officer.
Swing Left’s mission is to swing our country left, starting with the House, by informing, connecting, and empowering a new grassroots army to mobilize where votes count the most.
The Deputy Field Director position is full-time, remote position. Swing Left provides a competitive salary and benefits package. We are happy to answer any questions you have about our benefits, retirement, parental leave policies and other, similar benefits in interviews.
We believe that the GOP's bad behavior disproportionately hurts the most marginalized people in society — including people of color, people from working class backgrounds, women and LGBTQ people. As a result, we believe that these communities must be centered in the work we do and we welcome all applicants regardless of age, citizenship, gender identity or expression, national origin, pregnancy status, race, religion, sexual orientation, veteran status, or any other differences.
