Swing Left is seeking a volunteer Research and Outreach Specialist to help our Partnership team identify and build partnerships with local and regional organizations to help win back the House in 2018. Volunteers are expected to contribute a total of roughly 5-10 hours per week.

About Swing Left

Swing Left is a grassroots network of 300,000+ volunteers working to take back the House in the 2018 midterm elections. Our organization is led by professionals from the tech, media, finance, nonprofit and art worlds in collaboration with veteran political organizers and strategists.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain our calendar of conferences and events and help coordinate speaking opportunities for our National Leadership team
  • Identify volunteers who can attend local events and ensure volunteers have the resources they need to effectively represent Swing Left
  • Research organizations relevant to Swing Left, identify contacts and gather insights and information about these organizations
  • Create and maintain a database of relevant local and regional organizations, and support our Field Team in connecting local Swing Left Leadership to these organizations
